Create an account and submit your research
Faculty or staff who wish to submit research to the Bucknell Digital Commons will need to create an account on the Digital Commons.
Faculty Scholarship on the Digital Commons is organized by item type — books, conference papers, and presentations, contributions to books, journal articles, and other research and publications — these collections are then filtered into department specific collections. Please select the most appropriate location for your scholarship and fill in the submission form.
Metadata
The submission forms for each collection type will include metadata fields to capture information specifically about your paper. The robustness of the data will affect the discoverability of your scholarship. Frequently overlooked fields such as keywords and discipline are used by the Digital Commons software to sort scholarship and support users who prefer to browse for appropriate research.
Link or Upload Paper
Submitted scholarship should always comply with the publisher’s copyright policies. You can ensure compliance by checking your publisher’s policy on the Sherpa/RoMEO database. Many publishers allow scholars to publish post-prints (reviewed and accepted versions). You may add the URL to your paper by selecting “Link out to file on remote site” in the Upload File field (see image below).
